Multicultural Community Services has partnered with Colonial Life to provide their employees the opportunity to purchase additional insurances.

Colonial Life offers a comprehensive portfolio of personal insurance offer coverage for spouse and/or children with or without employee participation. All plans are also portable at the same cost and benefit.

The following voluntary benefits are offered by Colonial Life:

Short Term Disability Insurance helps you pay everyday living expenses and out-of-pocket expenses not covered by major medical plans. This plan provides a monthly benefit to replace your income if you are unable to work due to a covered disability. Choose among a variety of plans.

Accident Insurance helps offset unexpected medical expenses, such as deductibles and co-payments that can result from a fracture, dislocation, or other covered accidental injury.

Critical Illness Insurance complements your major medical coverage by providing a lump-sum benefit that you can use to pay the direct and indirect costs related to a covered critical illness, which can often be expensive and lengthy.

Cancer Insurance helps offset the out-of-pocket medical and nonmedical expenses related to cancer that most medical plans may not cover. This coverage also provides for specified cancer-screening tests

Hospital Confinement Insurance provides a lump-sum benefit for a covered hospital confinement or outpatient surgery to help with co­ payments and deductibles that are not covered by most major medical plans.
