RE: Announcement of New Executive Director

I am pleased to announce that Karen Fletcher has been chosen by the board of directors to be the new MCS executive director effective October 1, 2023. Karen will replace Paul Conlon who is retiring on September 30, 2023. The Board interviewed a number of qualified candidates but in the end, Karen’s long tenure with MCS as well as her leadership skills made her the obvious choice.

Karen has worked at MCS for 29 years. She began her tenure as a direct care staff and steadily worked her way up culminating with her appointment as Director of Program Supports in 2020. As Director of Program Supports, Karen oversaw services to over 3,000 individuals through the ABA, ABI, Adult Foster Care, Agency with Choice, Family Supports, Individual Supports, and Shared Living programs. As a member of the Senior Management Team for over 20 years, she has been instrumental in setting and implementing agency goals and objectives, serving on the strategic Planning Committee, and developing numerous program initiatives to better serve our client population.
