Intensive Flexible Family Support

Helping families stay together through focused, goal-driven support.

The Intensive Flexible Family Support (IFFS) program assists families facing significant challenges that put their child or family member at risk of out-of-home placement. This is a time-limited (6 to 12 months) and goal-oriented service that provides focused, hands-on assistance to address areas of need, strengthen family capacity, and help individuals remain safely at home.

Key Program Features

Comprehensive Assessment & Planning

Each family receives a written assessment to identify strengths, challenges, and priorities. A personalized support plan establishes clear goals, timelines, and responsibilities.

Family-Centered Collaboration

Staff work closely with families to coordinate medical, therapeutic, behavioral, and community resources, helping them navigate the system and access meaningful support.

Skill-Building & Capacity Development

Through education, training, and individualized coaching, caregivers learn strategies to meet their family member’s physical, emotional, and behavioral needs more effectively.
