The Flexible Funding Program at Multicultural Community Services (MCS) helps families access stipends to purchase goods or services that directly enhance the quality of life for an individual with a disability. All funding must relate to the person’s disability and comply with the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) Family Support Guidelines.
How It Works
Service Navigators collaborate with families to identify their needs and determine eligible uses of funds.
When approved, stipends may be provided within the limits of available funding to help cover disability-related expenses that promote safety, independence, or inclusion.
Each request is reviewed to ensure it aligns with DDS guidelines and program intent.
