Bloodborne Pathogens Training

Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Training is required for all employees who work directly with individuals in any MCS program. This training teaches you how to prevent exposure to potentially infectious materials and follow universal precautions safely and consistently.

Who Should Take This Training?

All new MCS employees are required to complete Bloodborne Pathogens Training as part of the orientation process. If you have any questions about completing this training, please contact Human Resources or your supervisor.


How To Complete This Training

  1. Read the Training Packet: Learn about bloodborne pathogens, exposure risks, universal precautions, PPE, and safe handling procedures.
  2. Take the Bloodborne Pathogen Quiz: You must pass the quiz with a score of 80% or greater on your first attempt to receive credit.
  3. Receive Credit: Upon successful completion, your submission will be recorded. If follow-up is needed, the Training Coordinator will contact you.

You must review the entire Bloodborne Pathogens Training Packet before attempting the quiz
A score of 80% or higher is required to pass
You may retake the quiz as many times as needed until you achieve a passing score.
Training credit is awarded only after a passing quiz submission is received.
