The Human Rights Committee at MCS plays a vital role in affirming, promoting, and protecting the human and civil rights of the individuals we serve. As an independent committee appointed in accordance with DDS regulations, it is responsible for reviewing and approving behavior plans, restraint orders, restrictive procedures, and investigations. Additionally, the committee provides guidance to the agency director on policies and procedures to ensure they align with MCS’s commitment to uphold the rights and dignity of every individual in our care.
