The West Springfield Chapter of UNICO and the Park and Recreation Department sponsor various events for special needs children and adolescents. If you have a child with a special need and would like further information contact the P&R Department at 413-263-3284. All dances will be held at the Mittineague Congregational Church, Rt. 20 in West Springfield. Times are 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Friday evenings. There is a $2.00 per person donation at the door. USP organizes an amazing variety of sport oriented programming for children at little or no cost. See their website for current offerings. Most programming occurs at Westfield State College and Stanley Park. To sign up for a program, email USP your child’s name and phone number. USP will contact you within 24 hours. If you do not have an email account, speak to your MCS caseworker, and we’ll do it for you.
