The Federation’s Parent Training and Information Center provides free information, support, technical assistance and workshops to Massachusetts’ families who have children with disabilities. Parent Consultant Training workshops are regularly offered. The Consultant Training workshop focus on the laws governing the Individual Education Program (IEP) process.
Parent Advisory Councils
Parent Advisory Councils offer guidance to parents who desire to learn the laws and regulations that dictate special education. As a parent, you can become a partner in your child’s education while also acting as your child’s best advocate. Knowledge is power and PAC can help you gain the knowledge you need.
